Roko Zaper is a Sydney based artist who has been creating original worlds through both graphic novels and video games, exhibiting internationally and animating mythologies and histories, often at the cross-roads between different cultures.

His influences reflect the tapestry of contemporary illustrative art and include Comic strips, Japanese Manga and Anime, Pop-art, Film and Video game Concept art and Sumi-e art. His dominant watercolour and ink style reflects the vision that illustrations should be a spontenous recording of the imagination.
